"Some of today's finest writers have chosen their side, creating dazzling stories about both creatures."

Zombies vs Unicorns isn't your every day YA read. This book consists of stories about the two creatures, written by some of our favorite modern, young adult authors. Such authors include Meg Cabot, know for her popular teen girl novels, Scott Westerfeld known for the amazing Uglies series, and much more.

Each chapter in this book is a different story about Zombies or Unicorns, alternating chapter by chapter throughout the book. However much can't be said about the premise, because it is all short stories and too much could be given away as spoilers.

My Thoughts
Zombies vs Unicorns was phenomenal. While in the bookstore the only reason why I had picked up the book was simply because of its ridiculous title and beautiful cover (so yeah i totally judged the book by its cover, o well :p). But after reading the premise on the back i realized how awesome this book could be, if done the right way. And let me tell you, the book was made beautifully.
All of the Stories somehow fit naturally together and they all are great stories in their own way. All the stories were different also and each had their own unique presence (so you weren't always reading about a Halloween party gone wrong when zombies attack, or about a mystical unicorn that helps save a princess).
At the end of the book you also have the fun choice of whether to be Team Zombie or Team Unicorn, and I don't want to influence anyone reading this to choose their side, but I am Team Zombie all the way!
I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a scary/funny/magical/fantastic book to read. It earns a 5/5 in my book!
